As you will see from
the latest layout of the whole LSV site, there are a few
roads giving access to the facilities that ultimately
will require some names. We might be able to influence
the Council as to how this occurs. As I understand it,
there are two basic rules. One is that you cannot name
the roads after a human being because this has caused
problems in the past and you obviously cannot repeat the
name of a road that already exists in the Leigh area. I
have come up with some really original names such as
‘Stadium Way’, ‘South Stadium Way’, ‘North Stadium Way’,
etc., so that is the standard of intellectual input that
you have to try and beat!
