LEIGHSportsVillage are delighted that the work recently undertaken at CrillyPark has been greatly appreciated by both Atherton LR and Leigh Genesis in time for the Evostick League inspection.
LSV Co agreed to complete refurbishments to the ground following Leigh Genesis’ move to Spa Road, and they are pleased to confirm that all work have now been finished.
Refurbishment works completed by LSV include the regeneration of the pitch, new perimeter and pitch side fencing.
Jane Wilcock, Chairman of Atherton LR, said she was delighted with the changes that had taken place.
She added: “I am over the moon with the refurbishments. They have been completed in a timely fashion and have made our ground a better place to play.
“We have had great feedback from the fans and I would like to think it will spur the team on too.”
LSV were happy to facilitate the changes at CrillyPark in order to provide Leigh Genesis with a new home and Jane has recognised the benefit to her club also.
“I would like to offer my thanks to the LeighSportsVillage for making this happen.”
“They have been so supportive of everything and have made themselves available every time we have needed them, from the builders through to the Chief Executive Officer.
“They have worked very hard and made extra effort to put forward resources to make these changes and we are extremely grateful. We now look forward to the season ahead.”
