Rugby League World Cup

Prepare for fireworks on Tuesday November 5th as Tonga take on rivals Cook Islands in the 14th game of the Rugby League World Cup!

Both teams not only play exciting, expansive rugby, but also have their own version of the haka – so the excitement will begin before a ball has been kicked. And once it does, there’s some of rugby league’s most explosive talent on display. Tonga are likely to feature Wigan’s powerful prop forwardEpalahame Lauaki and Hull KR’s second row Mickey Paea and will be basing themselves at Leigh Sports Village for the duration of the tournament.
