The Hide Coffee House is located at the heart of Pennington Flash Nature Reserve, just a short walk from Leigh Sports Village and Leigh town centre.
Temporary Closure At The Hide – Autumn/ Winter 2026
The Hide is currently undergoing a number of exciting improvements and we are looking forward to sharing the transformation with visitors. Please note that the Hide is currently closed whilst these works take place, however our much loved kiosk will still be open, with other alternative catering options available.
We’re planning to be back open in December so keep your eyes peeled for our reopening date.

Please note that on Tuesday 3 November, The Hide Café, Visitor Centre and Kiosk will be closed due to ongoing improvement works taking place at Pennington Flash. There may also be additional disruption throughout the day, with access around The Hide Café restricted while works are carried out. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding while these are completed.
