Local Lads Shine

We would like to welcome Remi and Shaun to the Leigh Sports Village Arena team as Recreational Assistants.

These two have been an integral part of the Arena family for over a decade, from half-term holiday camps to casual bookings. In fact, Shaun still remembers celebrating his 10th birthday with a football party right here at the Arena, coached by none other than Graham, our Senior Duty Manager!

Both Remi and Shaun live in the local area, just a stone’s throw away from the facility, so the Arena has always been an ideal place for them to participate in grassroot sport. Their deep connection to the facility makes this a full-circle moment, now stepping into full-time roles to help deliver the very activities they once enjoyed as kids.
