It’s been a memorable Euro 2016 football tournament for plenty of reasons, and Leigh Sports Village Arena celebrated this festival of football with our very own Euro-themed 6-a-side competition last week.
We’d like to thank all those who took part – the day was a major success with not only our regular customers but also a stream of new players who had never used the Arena before. The feedback you gave us was great to hear, from how the day was organised to the high quality synthetic playing surface. An extra thank you to our tournament sponsors Marston’s, too.
Congratulations to “France” who ended up winning our tournament and taking home the £300 prize – and it will be interesting to see if the real team can emulate their exploits later this week!
