Leigh Sports Village provides state of the art facilities for sport, education, physical activity, health, leisure and culture and serves the local community and the region as a whole, and includes: sports pavilion and floodlit grass and 3G artificial sports pitches, athletics stadium, sports centre, sixth-form college, high quality hotel, retail outlets, bars, restaurants and a 12,000 capacity stadium.

The stadium is a multi-million pound complex with state of the art high quality facilities and is the home for Leigh Centurions, Manchester United Women and Manchester United U23s. The Stadium also hosts a number of events which have included rugby league international matches, Championship Finals Day, and was a venue for the Rugby League World Cup 2013. Elton John and Lionel Richie have also both performed hugely successful concerts.

Leigh Sports Village was a host venue for the UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 and the Rugby League World Cup 2021.

We are currently recruiting for part time bar staff to work on both match days and non-match day events. If you have great customer service skills, you could be what we are looking for to join our catering team.

The casual roles we have available will suit a variety of people and whilst previous experience in hospitality or public catering would be an advantage, it is not essential for the person with the right qualities, as full training will be given. Due to licensing laws, we can only accept applications from those aged 18 or over.
