We’re delighted that Leigh Centurions wish to mark their tremendous achievement of promotion to Super League with free entry to the game against Batley. With Manchester United U23s playing at the stadium, we have extensive experience of hosting and managing top flight sporting events with free admission, so we’d ask that anyone wishing to celebrate Leigh’s promotion to Super League this Saturday reads the following entry information very carefully.

Like Leigh Centurions, we want everyone to enjoy what should be a memorable day.

Advance tickets

As announced earlier this week, tickets are free. This does not mean that you can simply walk into the stadium on matchday, however. For safety reasons we have to allocate you a specific ticket and you must either claim it from the stadium ticket office or by going to our website.

Ticket orders are limited to four per person – please make your order as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Anyone who had already purchased a ticket for the game can apply for a refund by bringing their ticket and, if applicable, the card they bought it with, to the ticket office at the stadium. This offer does not apply to season ticket holders – for more information please go to the Leigh Centurions website.

Stands

All four stands will be open. At the time of writing, the North Stand is fully allocated, and there is limited availability in the West and East Stands. Turnstiles open at 2pm.

Matchday

We have held sold out events at the stadium before and know how busy Leigh Sports Village can become. If you usually like to arrive at the stadium just before kick off, please be aware that the turnstiles and concourses are likely to be very busy.

To avoid disappointment, please arrive at the stadium early – turnstiles open at 2pm.

We will also be conducting bag searches in line with advice from Greater Manchester Police in light of the terrorist attacks in Paris last year, so please also factor that in to your plans for the day.
