Leigh Sports Village will host a special pre-Christmas friendly on Friday 20 December (7pm kick off) as Manchester United take on AC Milan.

Back in September, United had a 2-2 draw with Hertha Berlin at Altrincham’s Moss Lane in the same age group.
United played Italian opposition in the shape of Juventus in the UEFA Youth League last season, an Under-19 competition, with Nicky Butt’s team winning 4-1 at home, thanks to goals from Josh Bohui, Mason Greenwood, James Garner and Dylan Levitt.
The away tie in Turin finished 2-2, with an own goal by Joao Serrao and Aidan Barlow’s penalty helping the Reds to a useful point on the road en route to qualification from the group stages.
