Leigh Centurions pushed new Super League leaders Catalans Dragons all the way in a high-scoring Betfred Super League Round Nine contest at Leigh Sports Village on Saturday afternoon.
Two late tries from Ryan Brierley and Junior Sa’u got Leigh within six points of the Dragons with minutes to play but they couldn’t find another try despite a frantic finish.
