Leigh Sports Village fully appreciate the challenges that the Rugby League World Cup organisers have faced in trying to deliver the tournament this year.
We are disappointed that the tournament has been postponed to 2022 as we were looking forward to staging three games at the stadium as well as the Sports Village being a training camp. We will be working hard with the organisers to see how we can support the delivery of the tournament in 2022 and every effort will be made to ensure it is just as successful.
