An opportunity for an experienced Public Catering Operations Manager based at Leigh Sports Village.
Responsible to the General Catering Manager, the post holder will be expected to organise their own workload and achieve agreed objectives with a minimum of supervision. The postholder will also be expected to deal with all issues affecting the Company regarding the provision of catering services including corporate hospitality, conferences & events as defined within the job description
You will be expected to plan, develop and manage the provision of the public catering operation on match and event days, with supervisory responsibility for Public Catering staff on a matchday and Hospitality staff on a non-match day. You will need to organise, lead, train and motivate the public catering staff to ensure a high quality of customer service is always delivered and operate the public catering area to the standards set out in the service level agreement and by optimising appropriate budgets.
Proven experience in a stadium or fast-food environment along with a personal liquor license and minimum level 2 food safety and hygiene certificate is essential, with first aid qualifications desirable.
