PRIVACY NOTICE – LEIGH  LEOPARDS

Leigh Sports Village Co. takes your privacy very seriously and is committed to protecting your personal information. This privacy policy sets out the way in which any personal information you provide to us is used and kept secure when you purchase tickets for Leigh Leopards.

What information do we collect?

When purchasing a ticket for a fixture/event at Leigh Sports Village, we ask you to provide your full name, home address, telephone contact details, date of birth and e-mail contact details. If making a purchase for tickets, you may need to provide your debit/credit card details which are used in accordance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). If you are purchasing tickets for a disabled supporter, we may require proof of disability (PIP forms) but this is for visual purposes only and is not copied or recorded at any point and is merely to confirm eligibility as necessary.

Why is this information collected?

The primary purposes of collecting this information is to allow us to complete the purchasing process, meaning we’re able to either post your ticket to your home address or to verify your purchase when collecting tickets from the Ticket Office.

Collecting this information also allows us to contact you in the event of a fixture/event being cancelled or postponed, whilst also providing a trace on your purchase should you require a replacement ticket or refund.

Information such as your date of birth or home address will never be shared with anyone other than Leigh Leopards (see below for more information about this), but may be used to analyse the age or location profile of ticket purchasers for a particular fixture/event.

We may also wish to contact you via e-mail to promote future fixtures/events at Leigh Sports Village that you may wish to attend. You will be given the option to opt-out of receiving these marketing e-mails at all times.

Where is this information stored?

Your information is stored securely within the systems of Advanced Computer Systems. You can view their privacy policy HERE. In order to provide our products and services, we appoint other organisations to carry out some of the data processing on our behalf, including but not limited to payment processing organisations.

Does anyone else receive this information?

This is within our legitimate interests and the legitimate interests of Leigh Leopards.  However, if at any point you ask us not to send you any promotional material, we will not use your personal information for this purpose.  If you ask us to delete your information, we will give careful consideration to your request.  If there is no lawful reason/basis for us to retain your information, we will delete it on request.  However, please note that there may be some circumstances where we are unable to delete all or some of your information, at the time of you making such a request, if it is necessary for us to retain your information (or some of your information) for another lawful reason such as compliance with a legal obligation upon us.  If you ask us to delete your information and it is not possible for us to delete all of it, we will delete any information that we do not otherwise need to retain.  If we have passed your information to Leigh Leopards and you ask us to delete or amend your information, we will notify Leigh Leopards accordingly and ask them to delete or amend your information should we be required to do so by law.

In any event however, both we and Leigh Leopards will delete your information following the conclusion of the rugby season that follows the current season unless it is necessary for us to retain your information for some other legal or regulatory reason.
