PRIVACY NOTICE – MANCHESTER UNITED

Leigh Sports Village Co. takes your privacy very seriously and is committed to protecting your personal information. This privacy policy sets out the way in which any personal information you provide to us is used and kept secure.

What information do you collect?

When registering your interest in attending a Manchester United fixture at Leigh Sports Village, we will only ask you for your forename, surname, e-mail address, how many tickets you require and which football team you support. At no point will we ask you for any other personal information. If making a purchase for tickets, you may need to provide your debit/credit card details which are used in accordance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). If you are purchasing tickets for a disabled supporter, we may require proof of disability (PIP forms) but this is for visual purposes only and is not copied or recorded at any point and is merely to confirm eligibility as necessary.

Why is this information collected?

In the first instance, we ask you to provide this information so that we know how many spectators to expect at any given Manchester United fixture at Leigh Sports Village so that ample capacity and staffing levels are available on the day of the game. Collecting this information is to allow us to complete the purchasing process, meaning we’re able to either post your ticket to your home address or to verify your purchase when collecting tickets from the Ticket Office.

Collecting this information also allows us to contact you in the event of a fixture/event being cancelled or postponed, whilst also providing a trace on your purchase should you require a replacement ticket or refund.

We may also wish to contact you via e-mail to promote future fixtures/events at Leigh Sports Village that you may wish to attend. You will be given the option to opt-out of receiving these marketing e-mails at all times. We will use your contact details to send you marketing messages, about these events on the basis that it is within our legitimate interest to do so unless you choose to opt-out of receiving them. You can choose to opt-out at any time. You can opt-out by clicking on the opt-out link on the email or by contacting us directly and asking us not to send you any marketing messages.
